Rules for Draft Horse Pull

1. The distance for each pull is 27 1/2 feet, shorter distances will determine the final placements of teams.

2. The pulling area will be defined by a 20 foot pull lane and as long as the Judge feels appropriate.

3. The first two pulls will be in direction of last pull if within the pulling area, third pulls to be in desired direction of driver.

4. Teams being called on to pull will constitute and attempt, unless breakage occurs. Time to fix will be at the descretion of the Judge.

5. All drivers and hookers must remain behing the double-tree during pulling attempts.

6. Starting weights to be determined after meeting of officials and team participants.

7. Light Weight teams will be under 3400 lbs and Heavy Weights over same.

8.Judge and Officials decisions are final.
